Amazon Live: 12 Shows from Influencers, Sellers, Brands

Amazon Live combines streaming video with online shopping, letting influencers, sellers, and brands engage and interact with consumers in real-time. Show hosts demonstrate and review products, while a carousel below each video offers featured items to viewers. Broadcasting through the Amazon Live Creator app, content producers manage live streams, add featured products, chat with shoppers, measure results, and track progress.

Amazon Live launched in 2019 for brands and sellers. But this summer it added live streaming to its Influencer program, which lets social influencers earn money by showcasing recommendations and pointing their fans to Amazon products. Influencers receive commissions on the products sold. And as they grow their fan base, influencers move up levels, from “Rising Star” to “Insider” to “A-List,” unlocking rewards such as priority support and featured placement on the Amazon Live home page.

Amazon Live categories include health and fitness, fashion and beauty, cooking, baby, home, electronics, pets, media, and video games. Amazon Live is open to U.S. vendors with an approved Amazon store, U.S. sellers registered in the Brand Registry, and Amazon Influencers with an active storefront.

Here is a list of shows using Amazon Live from influencers, sellers, and brands. Episodes range from 30 minutes to two hours, though most are roughly one hour. Besides promoting products, hosts offer demonstrations, interact with viewers, provide insights, uncover values, and more.
