Amazon will roll out 7-day-a-week on-demand phone support to Pro sellers who have questions about the health of their accounts. A Call-Me-Now option will be added to sellers' Account Health page over the course of 2022, which reads: "If you have any questions about your account health, have an account health specialist contact you right away."
Amazon explained in its announcement: "Call me now improves on the preventative support we already provide, and gives you the ability to proactively contact our team to answer your questions and help you resolve your account health issues in the most urgent situations. The dedicated Account Health support team is trained to answer your questions on the policies and performance metrics on your Account Health page."
In responding to questions from sellers in the comments section of the announcement post, an Amazon moderator
addressed why accounts may become "At Risk," saying there were many factors.
"Some are easy to explain, others are the result of account based reviews or changes to policies, and in some instances there may not be a black and white answer as to “why” something was flagged or taken down."
He continued: "Performance notifications are often sent to try and fill in some of the gaps, and even the dashboard has been updated to break down issues in a more clear way than in the past. The account health team will strive to provide as much information as is available to get to the bottom of something. As always utilize that “Feedback” button in seller central and let us know where you think we can improve."
Amazon launched Call me now support on the Account Health page to a portion of sellers in 2021 and said this year, the feature will become available to 100% of professional sellers (Amazon Pro sellers pay $39.99/month).
Amazon sellers commenting in the announcement post appeared skeptical about the ability of support representatives to help them. If you've had experience with the Call me now feature in the Account Health section, let us know what you think.
