A SAVVY man who purchases mystery boxes full of perfect condition and even new items claimed he scored the jackpot on a box of Amazon and Best Buy returns.

He said he paid just $500 for the pallet of goods that was thought to be worth $24,000.

Robert Terkla, who said he usually buys storage units, revealed in a YouTube video that he purchased a pallet of Amazon and Best Buy returns for just $500 after talking down the seller from the $900 price point.

He took viewers along his whole journey, from his "sketchy" pickup to his unwrapping.

He said the man he purchased the pallet from originally wanted to resell the items himself but decided it was too much work.

Explaining how he will determine how profitable the boxes are, he said he would make profit estimates based on how much similar products have sold for on eBay.

THE REVEAL

The pallet consisted of several boxes, so once Terkla drove to his warehouse, he immediately started opening them up to see what he scored.

The first box he opened on camera consisted of seven Belkin Samsung Galaxy tablet holders, which he said he could sell for $6 each.

Next, he found two "brand spanking new" Nextech boomboxes, for which he said he can earn about $20 apiece.

After box one, Terkla was already $82 into meeting his $500 break-even point.

As he dug into his other boxes, he discovered Boost Signal cell phone signal improvers that can be sold for $200 apiece, Speck Macbook Pro cases that will earn him approximately $680 if they're all sold, and wireless chargers that are expected to total about $246 in sales.

As he sorted through more boxes, he found noise-canceling headphones that should make him $170, a keyboard he believes he can sell for $20, and Bluetooth handset gloves made by Gadgetree, which he was surprised to see are real gloves that can be connected to Bluetooth.

Terkla's final box consisted of various gadgets and oil diffusers, and he said he can make about $250 from everything in it.

So, after he spent quite some time sorting through the boxes and being "conservative" about his hopeful profits, Terkla said he believes he can make $4,703.

He estimated that including the original cost of the pallet, paying his employees to help label and ship the items, and the gas money it will take to transfer the items to his other warehouse, he will make about $3,000 from his mystery bundle.

He said he considered the results "not a bad" find.
