Amazon is facing renewed antitrust scrutiny in Europe after Germany’s Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt) ordered the technology giant to disgorge approximately €59 million in economic benefits allegedly obtained by influencing pricing on its marketplace platform. Amazon notched double-digit sales in its fiscal Q4 2025 as it announced Amazon Web Services (AWS) agreements with a variety of technology companies.
